Description
New to our range of Di Gilpin knitting wool, Dulse is a beautiful deep reddish-purple shade inspired by a seaweed that grows on the North Atlantic coast of Scotland.
A light double-knit weight. This signature Lalland lambswool by leading Scottish knitter Di Gilpin has a characteristic firm twist which gives wonderful stitch definition.
Dulse is a wild seaweed that grows on the North Atlantic coast of Scotland. The fronds are long with a dark reddish-purple translucent hue.
Lalland wool works beautifully on 3.25, 3.75 or 4 mm needles.
Recommended tension/gauge 25 stitches and 30 rows in stocking/stockinette stitch.
Measured over 10 cm / 4 ins on a UK 3.75 mm / US 5 needle.
Hand wash in lukewarm water and dry flat.
