Tailor made to your needs, enjoy private Meet the Maker shopping experiences in our Edinburgh store. This is a unique opportunity to meet some of our artisan makers in person and learn about their craft. Speciality areas include:

The Harris Tweed® story, Shetland Fair Isle, Scottish knitting yarn, Scottish wool and sheep breeds, cashmere, tartan, wood carving.

Why not combine your visit to other artisan studios on our street? This is a unique opportunity to visit the St Mary's Street Makers!

We can accommodate up to 16 people in the store during one visit. If your group is larger than this we recommend dividing the group so one half visits the Scottish Textiles Showcase and the other visits Mackenzie Leather atelier at no 17 St Mary's Street, just across the road.  We can host simultaneous visits in our stores and rotate the groups accordingly.
