This new book by Scottish knitting specialists Di Gilpin and Sheila Greenwood is an in-depth look at the famous Gansey knitting designs incorporated into fishermen's jumpers. It contains easy to follow pictures and charts for 150 different Gansey Stitch patterns, as well as 10 Projects designed by Di and Sheila for Contemporary Gansey Knitting.
A history section within the book has case studies and the latest findings from the Moray Firth Gansey Project and the Knitting the Herring Project with the Scottish Fisheries Museum.
