All of our products are made here in Scotland.
Our mission is to celebrate Scottish provenance and the skills of the talented makers themselves so you can buy in confidence knowing that your purchase is genuinely made here in Scotland.
Scottish craftsmanship is synonymous with quality and Scotland has an impressive history in textile design. It's no wonder that leading fashion houses around the world work with Scottish wool mills to develop their tweed and cashmere collections year after year.

Our Meet the Makers map is a focal point of our Edinburgh store and displays the location of the wool mills we work with around the country, many of which are open to visitors. Our independent artisans are also based all over Scotland, from the wind swept shores of the Shetland Isles in the far north to the gentle river valleys of the Scottish Borders in the south. Pride in their work and craft tradition is the common thread that unites all our makers and is reflected in the beautiful textiles they create.

The Importance of Landscape
You need to travel off the beaten track to find many our mills and artisan makers, who are based in far flung rural locations where dramatic Scottish landscapes and ever changing light are a constant source of inspiration. Vibrant and earthy hues found in the stunning land and seascapes are embodied in classic and contemporary designs. It's no wonder that the saying From the Land Comes the Cloth has been used to describe the beautiful designs woven into Scotland's one and only Harris Tweed cloth.
