Morning Sands Blanket

Launching exclusively at Scottish Textiles Showcase, the limited edition Morning Sands lambswool blanket features an original plaid design by Araminta Campbell.

Drawing inspiration from early morning dog walks across deserted beaches, this tartan design is intended to capture the moments of calm and clarity one finds along the coast. The colours are inspired by nature: the warm camel of the beach, rippled by white. Soft blues and mauves reflect the changing skies as the sun begins to burn off the morning cloud.

During the design process, Araminta experiments with natural dyes to create unique palettes which are meticulously colour matched in the finished pieces.
