Harris Tweed Scarf Moorlands
Harris Tweed Scarf Moorlands
Luxurious limited edition scarf in earthy browns made with a beautiful combination of Harris Tweed® and Scottish cashmere.
A myriad of soft greens and browns blend together in the Scottish Moorlands scarf, made from luxurious Harris Tweed woven by master weaver Donald John Mackay. The scarf is lined with the softest grey donegal weave Scottish cashmere from Johnstons of Elgin.
Harris Tweed is woven from pure wool and hand woven by the island weavers on the Isle of Harris and Lewis, using traditional methods. Unusually the wool is dyed before being spun so each thread contains a multitude of different colours, producing a cloth of great depth and complexity. Donald John's weaving shed overlooks the beautiful bay of Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland.
The tweed provides optimum protection against the cold, wind and rain whilst the sumptuously soft cashmere side is worn next to the skin for exceptional comfort and warmth. The ultimate Scottish combo!
