A myriad of hues in rust and teal blue blend together in this luxurious Harris Tweed scarf lined with the softest Scottish cashmere.
'From the Land Comes the Cloth'! Traditionally inspired by the spectacular colours in the Scottish landscape, the colours in this tweed remind us of the rusty creel baskets used for fishing shellfish, such as Hebridean lobsters.
Harris Tweed® provides optimum protection against the cold, wind and rain as it is water resistant and made to withstand the worst of Scottish weather! The sumptuously soft cashmere side is worn next to the skin for exceptional comfort and warmth. We think this scarf is the ultimate Scottish combo!
Protected by the 1993 Act of Parliament, Harris Tweed® can only be made at the homes of the island weavers living on the Isle of Harris and Lewis. Using traditional methods, the tweed is woven from pure British wool which, unusually, is dyed before being spun so each thread contains a multitude of different colours, producing a cloth of great depth and complexity.
