Description
The Cora coat is a classic style by Scottish designer Elizabeth Martin. Made with Harris Tweed®, it features an oversized collar, turn-up cuffs and a matching tie-belt.
The Harris Tweed is woven in a vibrant emerald green. The coat is finished with a striking royal blue satin lining. Generously cut, our customers tend to go down a size with the Cora coat.
Protected by the 1993 Act of Parliament, Harris Tweed can only be made at the homes of the island weavers living on the Isle of Lewis and Harris. Using traditional methods, the tweed is woven from pure British wool which, unusually, is dyed before being spun so each thread contains a multitude of different colours, producing a cloth of great depth and complexity.
