Fleece Rug Hebridean

Cosy up with a handwoven fleece rug on your favourite chair or sofa. The deep brown shades come from the un-dyed fleece of the Hebridean sheep.

These rugs are wonderfully tactile and make a warm and cosy place to sit, especially through the colder months. They are equally popular with pets who are instinctively drawn to curl up on something good when they see it! Hand woven on a simple peg loom from minimally processed sheep fleece, preserving the natural texture, colour and character of the different fibres.

Marguerite is a first-generation shepherd, smallholder, and craft business owner based in rural Aberdeenshire. Wool forms the cornerstone of her work and her fleeces are sourced from her own flock of Scottish rare breed sheep.
