Description
Knitted with 100% Scottish Blackface wool, the Doon shirt jacket by Merrick Knitwear is based on the style of a traditional workwear jacket.
This heavyweight jacket is sure to keep you warm in the cooler months. It is knitted with the Milano stitch which mimics woven fabric but offers the stretch and drape of knitwear. Single breasted with a collar and deep patch pockets, finished with British made buttons crafted from natural horn.
An iconic breed of our high ground, the Scottish Blackface sheep is a resilient breed that spends its life out on the hills. A thick fleece keeps them safe from the elements; dry in rain and snow, and comfortably cool in summer’s heat.
