Bakka is a remote coastal croft situated in a truly spectacular location on Shetland. The BAKKA label was created by Mary Macgregor, the designer of BAKKA Fair Isle scarves and accessories.
Mary extensively researched the archives of the National Museum of Scotland and the Shetland Textile Museum to source inspiration for her work. The BAKKA collection features Fair Isle patterns knitted using just five traditional colours and a special reversible knitting technique to create perfect selvedges. The superfine merino wool makes each piece silky smooth next to the skin.
