Di Gilpin is an independent knitting company based in Pittenweem, Fife on the east coast of Scotland. Founder Di has created her own range of knitting wool in both Double Knit and Aran weights which give a superb finish and stitch definition, with a lovely vintage look. Her unique colours are inspired by the Scottish landscape, flora, fauna and even Crowdie cheese! 

With her colleague Sheila Greenwell, Di co-wrote the Gansey Knitting Sourcebook during the Covid lockdown period. This must-have compilation of Gansey knitting patterns documents the history of Gansey designs around the country with easy to follow patterns.
