Knitted in Shetland with pure Shetland wool, our knitted vest is a classic piece of Scottish knitwear.
These vests are produced entirely in the Shetland Isles in the far north of Scotland with local wool spun at the iconic Jamieson's of Shetland mill. The shade is a natural un-dyed cream complete with a ribbed collar to keep you extra warm.
These vests are produced by one of the few remaining wool mills on Shetland, which has a proud history dating back to 1924 and has been employee owned since 2019. The mill overlooks the beautiful bay of Hoswick in the south east of the island and enjoys spectacular views out to sea.
If you are thinking about reducing your carbon footprint, our Shetland vests will tick all the boxes for you. Sustainably made with pure wool natural fibres, their biggest journey outside the island was the trip to our Edinburgh store!
