Bonnytoun Jumper Natural White

Luxury hand frame knitted jumper made with un-dyed, white wool from Shetland sheep.

A Scottish classic, the Bonnytoun jumper in natural white Shetland wool is designed with the female shape in mind - a sculptural funnel neck with a clean, minimal silhouette, knitted in a generous size for that wrapped-up feeling on colder days. The collar holds it's shape without clinging: high enough to keep out the wind, soft enough to wear against the skin.

Designer and shepherdess Lindsay Girvan is based outside Edinburgh, where she farms her flock of Shetland sheep. She has created a collection of natural, un-dyed knitwear which is hand made in her atelier on site. 

Shetland sheep fleeces come in natural colours off white, Moorit (a specific shade of warm brown), Shetland black (very dark brown) and Katmoget grey. The resulting accessories and garments are individual in colour, texture, and volume from one year to the next, making them truly limited editions.
