Artisanal carver and cabinetmaker John Isaacs is the man behind Carving In Scotland. In his garden in Glencraig, Fife, John has built a small studio where he uses his skills to hand carve a range of wooden spoons and small wooden items.

John’s pieces are crafted from locally sourced and hand selected Scottish timber or from recycled wood. He believes that his creations should not only be practical, but beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use. This is something that can only be achieved with an experienced eye and years of crafting with hand tools.
