Araminta Campbell Launches the Autumn Woodland Walk Tartan
We were recently invited to celebrate the official launch of Araminta Campbell's latest limited edition tartan, Autumn Woodland Walk. The event was planned around the date of the September Harvest Moon and the evening did not disappoint, with a large moon rising over the atelier located in the beautiful grounds of Hopetoun House.
Part of the Heritage range of tartans, Autumn Woodland Walk is the sister tartan to Beech Dappled Skies, sharing the same design but crafted in two distinct colourways that mirror the shifting landscape of Scottish woodlands throughout the seasons.
The new design celebrates the rich hues of autumn foliage with burnt oranges, deep reds and vibrant moss green. Every colour, a testament to nature’s palette, was originally obtained by Araminta through natural plant dyes harvested from the surrounding landscape near her home in Aberdeenshire.
Millwoven in Scotland with soft lambswool, the Autumn Woodland Walk tartan is part of Araminta's Heritage range which also includes Highlands at Dawn and Highlands at Dusk, which have both been very popular with our customers. In a choice of scarf, shawl, serape, blanket and hot water bottle, each item comes in a cloth bag with an information card.
