Named after the 350 million year old Scottish stone, our agate knitting wool is always a popular choice and gives a lovely vintage look when knitted up. The agate stone is found on Scottish beaches, fields or rocks, notably in Angus and Ayrshire.
A light double-knit weight, our agate lambswool is designed by leading Scottish knitter Di Gilpin and has a characteristic firm twist which gives wonderful stitch definition.
Lalland wool works beautifully on 3.25, 3.75 or 4 mm needles.
