Fair Isle Scarf Black and White
Luxury Fair Isle scarf in black and white with a design based on traditional geometric Shetland patterns.
Fair Isle is a name given to the patterns and designs used by knitters in the northern Shetland Isles region of Scotland. After extensive research with the National Museum of Scotland and Shetland Museum and Archives, Mary from BAKKA has chosen to use traditional Fair Isle designs which are in danger of dying out as the source of inspiration for her modern and stylish scarves.
Bakka is a remote coastal croft situated in a truly spectacular location on the Isle of Shetland, in the far north of Scotland.
100% superfine merino wool.
