An intricately designed neck scarf, using traditional fair isle patterns in red, cream and blue. This beautiful Fair Isle scarf is knitted by Bakka in a luxuriously soft superfine merino wool.
Fair Isle is a name given to the patterns and designs used by knitters in the northern Shetland isles region of Scotland. After extensive research with the National Museum of Scotland and Shetland Museum and Archives, Bakka have chosen to use traditional Fair Isle designs which are in danger of dying out as the source of inspiration for modern and stylish scarves.
Bakka is a remote coastal croft situated in a truly spectacular location on the Isle of Shetland, in the far north of Scotland.
