Menzies tartan face covering woven in Scotland from poly cotton and washable at 50 degrees centigrade. Two elastic straps sit around the head and enable the mask to be pulled down and sit around the neck when not required over the mouth. Black poly cotton lining. Pleated design, fits all sizes.
Our tartan face masks are woven at a Scottish tartan mill in the Scottish Borders. Please note, these are not PPE equipment, but sold as face coverings for personal use when out and about in public places.
The Clan Menzies was of Gaelic-speaking descent, but the Chiefs came of a Norman family, Mengues, which was among the first in Scotland to adopt a surname. The correct pronunciation of the name is 'Meng-ess', the letter "z" here being a wrong transcription of the old Scots "g". In ancient writing these are often almost indistinguishable.
