Black and white houndstooth Harris Tweed lined with black silk for optimum comfort. Named after Sir Walter Scott who adopted the black and white dogtooth design as his own Scott estate tweed.
Silk is an optimum fabric for face masks lining as it prevents the penetration of droplets and is very breathable.
Harris Tweed is woven by hand in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and protected by an act of Parliament. The wool is dyed before it is spun which gives its characteristic rich depth in colour.
